It is a balmy 4C / 39F this morning, the coffee is at hand, and the burble and chirp of the lady and the girls is the sweetest of background sounds.
The Tramadol has taken the edge of the pain that kept me up all night although this means the day will be a bit of a wash…
We still don’t have much snow and if it stays cold and dry like this we won’t mind, it makes cycling a lot easier when you don’t have to slog through deeper snow or deal with lots of ice although studded tyres solve that issue.
When the snow does come, I’m ready. I recently installed some cross levers to the Pug so I’d have a brake for when I was sitting up or descending… they work very nicely.
